Learner® - Melissa Reade

Listen in as Dr. Melissa Reade shares the approach she's taking in navigating her current breast cancer treatment. Dr. Reade is the Director of Leader Valley and a Certified Leader in Me Implementation Coach and Certified Executive Coach, so she is no rookie to the concept of mindset.

When faced with new cancer-related information, she asks herself, "Is this going to move me forward?" She shares how she's keeping her Learner strength "in check" by researching the things she needs to know in the moment. This talent has helped her stay curious on her medical journey from her inquisitiveness about chemotherapy, technology, the role of genetics, and her approach to gathering information from other survivors.

As a close friend, I wish Melissa would never have had to navigate this journey. That said, she is certainly showing all of us how to show up to life's adversities curious, passionate, and ALL IN!
